Well as far as I know my Dad's side of the family fought on the Confederate side, and my Mom's side fought on the Union side. (I'm one conflicted teenager Grin)

Great Grand Father (Dad's Side) - USAAF, he flew C-47s over the Channel during the Invasion of Normandy

Great Grand Father (Mom's Side) - U.S. Navy, he served in the Pacific during WWII.

Grand Father (Dad's Side) - Officer in USAF

Grand Father (Mom's Side) - Enlisted in USAF

Dad - 26 years in USAF, retired as a Master Sergeant

Brother - 4 years in the U.S. Army, was deployed to Iraq a few months the surge started. Currently he is coming home from Afghanistan.

Hopefully I will be able to add myself to this list someday. Smiley

I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you're racist. We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.&&&&&&

Husband , CMS in the USAF, 26 years total years and counting. The first 10 were active duty. The rest reserve time with some activations thrown in. As a member of the IMA program, he is able to hold a job as a civilian contractor and works for the Wolf Pack CE squadron  as an environmental scientist at Kunsan AB, South Korea.

My dad was in the horse artillery at Ft. Riley before WWII. His dad was the officer in charge of loading the bombers in Papau New Guinea during WWII. He brought home a lovely Aussie bride.

I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as soon as I could.
