HEY OLD GIRL:  You DO have an idea where you are going, don't you?  Those of us that LOVE AND HONOR HIM are all on a similar journey leading to an identical destination.  Isn't that comforting??? Smiley

I know exactly where I am going.  Thanks for noticing.  I put that up as a joke, because I have tried unsuccessfully to use my avatar, thus 'not knowing where I am going'.

Praise the Lord.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples!
Sing to Him, sing Psalms to Him;
Talk of all His wondrous works!
Glory in His holy name;
Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!

Praise the Lord.

I found these words today.  Aren't they so useful for our evening one minute Prayer?

Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end,
But establish the just;
For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds.
My defense is of God,
Who saves the upright in heart.

Psalm 7: 9,10

Praise the Lord.

For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

Psalm 91: 11,12

Praise the Lord.

Go to this people and say:
"Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand;
And seeing you will see, and not perceive;
For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them."

Acts 28:26,27

Does this remind you of some?

Praise the Lord.

Little children, it is the last hour;
and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming,
even now many antichrists have come,
by which we know that is is the last hour.

Who is a liar but he who denies the Son
does not have the Father either;
he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

Quote:
What I intended as a Daily Devotional is sadly being neglected on my part.  Sudden assignments take me out of town for days, sometimes weeks, and I do not always have a computer at hand.  Please forgive me.  I would love some others, who are like minded and willing, to join in and perhaps post their own favorite Verse.  Thank you.

To God be the Glory

Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness!
You have relieved me in my distress;
Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.

Psalm 4: 1

Don't worry Oldgirl,I will try to watch over her while you are gone.

What about this great and well known verse.

For God so loved the world ,that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life . John 3:16
