I plan to rob and mob! Just kidding of course... As long as my arrows and deer holdout and there are dandelions in the yard, we are good. I have a five inch well that can be used without power for water.

Ar's, PTR-91 - .308, six shooters, shotguns, lever action 30-30, Ruger 10-22, .45's and a .450 bushmaster. Plenty o ammo for all.

Back on track now. Check out PTR-91 on CDNN.com for under 1000 bucks. Get a claw mount and a 4 X scope and you have the cadillac of .308's under $1400 bucks.

For pure self defense this is my choice. The Public Defender by Taurus. The 410 gauge 4 pellet buckshot at 15' spreads 6" and penetrates a 2X4 pine board to about 3/4". The .45 Long Colt blows the back out with a lot of force at 25'. Either way it is the perfect home or self defense weapon. This is my new Judge 4" ultra lite.

That's when those 2' deep trenches full of epoxy grout come in handy. Within a few minutes, they are fully intractable. Then a little nitrous oxide under the carriage solves the problem. Grin

Try putting 1/2 dozen split shot (fishing weights) on a piece of wire and loading them into your .410 round.

A pretty effective bad guy stopper.

Sounds like that would be just as effective as the Winchester PDX 1 but much cheaper. I'll have to give it a shot in my squirrel gun.

I'll argue that we'll never see BFV's coming down the county road.
The majority of US service people will abandon their posts and tear off their uniforms before turning their weapons on the US populace.
They know their mission is to protect the citizens of the US, not to attack them.
Their paychecks may come from the gov't, but most are civilians at heart.
