We shall see.

LA got all the bounces, hit all the clutch shots, blew a huge lead and still held onto win after being up 17...while Bostons stars Pierce and Allen were an absolute non-factor most or all of the game and they had an even amount of FTs between the 2 teams....and it was a 2pt game with 1:40 to go...it was anyone ball game in the 4th qtr while almost EVERYTHING went wrong for Boston....thats whats really scary....they were even in it to have chance to win.

If Boston gets half of the above things in their favor they win Game 4 by Double digits.

Remember how everyone wrote the Celts off after Game 1 when LA played a very good game and the Celts were saddled with foul trouble along with playing a poor game and were still sticking around and look what happened the next game....a Game 2 win by almost double digits while LA shot 15 more FTs on the road.If Boston gets 15 more FTs attempts in Game 4...they win by double digits.

Game 3 for LA was the game they HAD to win or else Boston would of had HUGE momentum for Games 4 and 5.....Its like Game 2 was a desperation game for Boston I saw Game 3 was a desperation game for La in so that they didnt allow Boston to win 2 in a row with 2 more games at Boston staring them in the face.

I stand by my comments....Boston wins by 14-18 pts in Game 4 when FINALLY homecookin calls go there way and they also play a good game offensively.

Remember also BEFORE the series I said they would split both games in LA....they did,

I also said Boston would win 2 of the 3 games in Boston....we shall see.

Nothing ever is well in hand in sports.

1 injury can derail everything.

Bynum looked hurt when he went out and even though he returned 4 more games possibly reamin and he could further injure his knee.

Yes LA has the upper hand and 2 more games in LA but Bynums knee is going to be a factor the longer this series goes on.

Im not saying he will further hurt the knee but its already in bad shape and one hard fall could turn the series.

You wont hear excuses from me.

If La wins I will admit defeat.

I am just stating what I see on the court.

BTW-This series is far from over and a Game 7 is looking more and more a reality.

Bos shoots 1 more Free throw then LA and STILL WIN!
You better pray Boston doesnt get 10-15 more FTS attempts like LA got in Game 2 or they are going to SMASH LA in Game 5.

And all the bounces went Boston way Smiley Smiley Smiley

Have I called this Finals or what!!  Grin

They didnt win by double digits but I cant get EVERYTHING right  Wink

2-2 with 1 more in Boston.

huge momentum for Boston going into Game 5.

They didnt get a ton of calls like La got in aGame 2(41 LA FT/26 Bos FT)  so Game 5 will be the Game where Boston should get all the calls and put serious pressure on LA.

And what did I say about Bynum Nyte Byrd?? I knew he was hurt in Game 3...he scored 2 pts and played 12 mins in Game 4.....Im sorry hes hurt but I knew he did get hurt and as this series goes on it may get worse.Remember what I said 1 injry can derail a series.

Like I said last night this series was far from over and most likely will go 7  Cool

I know this game very well Byrd.

Are you nervous yet Byrd??

Jus' two guys talkin' sports!  Smiley

http://www.grapheine.com/bombaytv/pub-uk-0fe47f0969efb9390b463cf78633b30c.html

Remynds me of the NY Daily News years ago, when they had a sports cartoon with two kids talkin' baseball all the tyme. I think of the names was "Yuchie".

Yer doin' well.  As are the Celtics.  I'm impressed.

Actually, I am not much into basketball nor football....just get into it playoff tyme.  Can't really say I pay my dues to be considered a 'fan' as I do about baseball, which I have been a follower of for 5 decades now.
I'm not a Lakers fan.  But that's my pick to stick with who I thought would win.  Don't think I really ever had a favorite team.  Probably the Knicks being from NY originally.

But I know enough of basketball from observation of being relatively close to predicting some outcomes of placing of teams in final standings.

And I'm not much of a Kobe fan, believe it or not.  It's just that I've been used to seeing him pull kaka out his butt to win games so many tymes.

Only been to one game in my lyfe back in early sixties at MSG to see Knicks play 76'ers when Wilt Chamberlain was playing.

I think you are ryte though about this going 7.   I think this may have climatic ending to the series.  One last shot may decyde the whole thing.

Man, that sub guy that comes in the last quarter, Nate Robinson!  He is psyched and always seems to make a big difference to putting the final nails in the opponent's coffin.

But you know I've been messin' w/ya bit, just havin' some fun.  Cheesy

As you can probably tell, not too many here seem to be into the games so much to take tyme to post.  So other than Bballfan to chat with about baseball, that leaves my other favorite Red Sox fan to have fun messin' with!  (Ssssh.  His name starts with a C and ends with a N).  Grin

Don't worry, I used parentheses, so he can't see what I typed there.  Smiley

Ya know, I used to get all 'nervous' and 'anxious' through baseball games some years back.  I still get some adrenalin going at tymes but I watch much more reserved than I used to.  It dawned on me one day, that the players must experience an even much higher degree of that sort of stress.  And to be honest, I began to even wonder if it was healthy to put myself through such a emotional roller coaster.

I realyzed the players go through all that.  But one big difference.  No one was paying me to feel that way.  At least they were making nearly millions for it.  Cheesy

Nervous?  Nah!  I wouldn't have it any other way!   Smiley

But I do know someone who probably is nervous about it.

My best friend in NY.  He loves the Lakers...and the Dodgers.

True story.  When we were kids, my Yankees were humiliated by his Dodgers and Sandy Koufax in 1963.  We made a bet that if they ever met again, for 100.00.  As kids, we felt lyke that was a million.

Well, when they met in 1977, we were in our 20's.  We recalled the bet and I won.  Then they met again in 1978.  He bet 50.00 and again I took him for it.  Then in 1981 they met again, and he played it safe and didn't want to bet.  And the Dodgers won!  Grin

Like I said when LA was up 2-1 in the series and seeing Bynum get hurt then along with his 2 pts 12 min Game 4 that the championship will really hinge on him being healthy and effective the next 2-3 games.

If he is not and LA gets little out of him....LA is in BIG trouble.

Im not saying Im glad hes hurt(never would I want that) but its pretty cool I called the major key to this game andmaybe the series while almost noone in the media said a word about it before Game 4....its kinda like I had inside info on what was going to happen.

Like I said earlier...I have a good eye for what REALLY goes on in the game and it doesnt take the media or the "experts" to tell me how things are or will go down.

I repeat (like I said to you earlier) Bynums health will be the deciding factor in them winning this series and 1 injury can derail a series.

I hope hes okay but I may of been the first guy to say how the series may finish after LA was up 2-1 and everyone saying the series was almost a done deal while I had a good feeling that his injury was going to be a BIG factor in Game 4 and maybe the series.

Wink
