Who will be the 2012 GOP front-runners?

Who do you believe will be the 2012 GOP front-runners?

I believe Mitt Romney and Tim Pawlenty will battle for the GOP nomination, both trying to call the other one a moderate and claim their own conservatism. I believe Romney will have a fundraising advantage and will be able to win in larger states like Florida, Missouri, and California. I believe he will win with economic and foreign policy conservatives. Pawlenty will have the social / christian conservative base behind him with some support in the midwest and more so in the south. Who will win? Probably Romney, but it depends who votes; conservatives in northern states would benefit Romney, more independents voting benefits Pawlenty.

Romney, will definitely be running, it is almost a sure thing. I hope Tim Pawlenty runs. He is that young, and up and coming star. He offers a fresh face, and the Republican Party, is sorely lacking, as of late. That isn't to say their are not good and up and coming coming stars. It is just that people like McCain, Romney, and Gingrich, and to some extent Huckabee, have hogged all the news. Of course their is Sarah Palin, but I believe she is going to be the number one cheerleader this year, and help bring good candidates to the forefront. Also she is doing a great job in becoming the whipping girl for the Left. When they show their viciousness toward her and her family, it just shows how really hateful they are.

Mitch Daniels
Rick Santorum
Mitt Romney
John Thune
Tim Pawlenty
Mike Huckabee
Mike Pence
Sarah Palin (maybe)

Personally, I'd like Pawlenty or Daniels.

Rick Santorum - Maybe, but I doubt he could win
Mitt Romney - front-runner
John Thune - Will win with some social conservatives, but a dark-horse
Tim Pawlenty- Runner-up
Mike Huckabee - Not running, most likely
Mike Pence- Could win some social conservatives, but I doubt he's running
Sarah Palin - Not running, most likely

We need to draft Lt. Col. Allen West who's running for Congress in Florida in 2010.  No rules against a junior Congressman running (and winning) the office of President.  This guy is awesome!!  - Dan

Republicans seem to always think they need a "Nice Looking" candidate everyone "likes".  Which in this case means Romney will get the nod.

But I really think you could run a hamburger against Obama in 2012 and get it elected with a slice of cheese as VP.
