I am sick of the NBA

I am getting sick of this league I hope kobe bryant chokes to death on his championship ring. As a devout Mavericks fan I have been fed up since 2006 when the league handed dewayne wade and the heat the finals in a series that miami had no busines winning and the worst officiating I have ever seen. When yo think about it who is easier to market to inner city kids the big German guy or the overrated thug d-wade. I love the Mavs but I no longer trust the NBA as I am typing kobe is shooting free throws again I am sick of it it's always the same few teams in the finals every year and for some reason the biggest tv market always seems to make it the next round, the NBA might take a tip from the NFL instead of letting the fakers play in the finals every year a little parody and fairplay might really help the league if other teams fans actually feel like they have a shot they might come out and support their teams more more full arenas means more money. But if teams fans realize that if they get anywhere they are just going to get screwed so that they can market kobe and wade why even bother supporting their team.

I'll be honest. Much of what was said was based on why I even predicted why the Lakers would probably win again. I certainly didn't pick them for being a Laker fan. Wink

And if it were 2011 ryte now, I'd probably make the same bet again.

But I am sick of some of the hype myself. Not just in basketball but in other sports. I get tyred of seeing so much publicity being given to certain players even when they do nothing. Baseball gets that way. AROD and Pujols can go 0-4 and they still have to put that in the highlights. Screw some not so well known guy who goes 2-4 and hits a homer.

When Shaq was with the Magic it was lyke that. If he scored 30, he would get the headlynes. If he scored 8 he would STILL get the headlynes. Screw the other guys who won the game.

Now it's all about Lebron and where he wants to go. The heck with where others want to go.

And I imagine when this new phenom on the Nationals, Strasburg loses his first game, it will be a major disaster story or something. Roll Eyes

Looks lyke the regular season ends mid-April, then the first round playoffs begin. So playoffs run mid-April till mid-June. Lotta teams get in there.
Too many as far as I'm concerned. I'd be happy seeing only division winners play only. Problem with that though is, some teams who finish second in some divisions could have much better record than a division winner.
