More of The One's grand elequence on display for the starstruck View bunch. This is what happens when Barry is off teleprompter. Whatever he was trying to convey, 'mongrel' certainly was an ill-chosen word, and one that would have gotten President Bush crucified had he said it.

But then Bush has class. Barry? Maybe he was describing himself. In any event, notice how the writer of this report made it a point to make excuses. "Nothing derogatory, light moment, etc."

Had a conservative said this, the media firestorm would still be raging, and that half of the GOP that aren't worth the powder it would take to blow them to hell would be on camera apologizing, crying, wailing and performing self-flaggelation to make up for this awful slur. After all, the worst thing imaginable for that bunch is to say or do something that liberals find offensive, right?
