THe execuive branch dictator powers

I do not like the part of the constitution that gives the power to the  President to veto the votes of large number of elected representatives. All the presidents have been puppets that did not care about the COnstitution since Reagan. The presidents are puppets of the Banksters. It's not good for conservatives to have power in the hands of one corrupt man. Having to have 2/3 of elected officials vote  to override 1 man is giving  that man dictator powers. What if 65 percent of both houses voted to secure the borders or get rid of the department of education, but the president vetoed the bill. THat president would be vetoing the votes of nearly 360 eelcted officials, and those 360 people would have been elected by tens of millions of Americans. I'd be for an amendment where it only takes 51 percent of both Houses to negate a presidential veto.
I realize that 90 percent of both houses of Congress are corrupt people who want to keep us in debt ,so COngress must be debated here too. THe people of the States must have the Final say.
God Luck and God bless!!

The residents of South Carolina elected officials who enacted a law simply asking that a voter prove who he or she is before voting. Obama's Justice Department said, "No, you are not". Looking only at the power he holds over Congress would be a mistake. Change, alright.

Well bro, if we got an amendment where a majority of the States can nullify a Fed agency we could nullify all the National agencies like the Dept. of Justice.
Take care!!

What's more disgusting is that since the Legislative branch are currently inactive, and the Supreme Court is currently being controlled by the Liberals, there is no way that we would ever get Obama impeached.

You heard it here first, folks.  Obama will never step down, even if he's voted out of office.  He will use executive orders to remain president for the rest of his life.

The greatest President we've ever had, Thomas Jefferson, believed without a doubt in state nullification of federal laws.

Our Bill of Rights constitutes a cluster of little foxholes of liberty ground into the hard cold face of history by helpless men for a shield against the lash of tyrants. They are the result of distrust of power and distrust of men in power. They are a recognition of Lord Acton's statement of a truth eternal--"power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."R. CARTER PITTMAN&&Dalton, Ga., Sept. 28, 1955.DRAFT JAN MORGAN FOR PRESIDENT!

Zakkeen, I was worried Bush might stay in power. I am now 10 times more worried that Obama wil try to stay in power.
Yes Shooterman, Jefferson wrote the Kentucky resolve of 1798, and it is great that you believe in them too.
Take care!!

The President makes no laws, is Commander in Chief, Commissions Officers, Convenes Congress in Special Sessions, approves/vetoes legislation, appoints a White House cabinet, wields executive power, etc.

The people have the final say on the acceptance of a bill passed by the congress.  They can override the presidential veto.  The inability to override, in today's situation, is caused by a Senate Majority Leader, who deliberately brings government to a halt.  In this case, the people still have the ultimate power to insist, by voting the clinker out of office.  It just takes a little longer.
