Citizenship requirements/voting

Persons of all ages, who wish to become citizens of the US, must pass a 100 question test on civics (history and government) in order to qualify.  Native citizens, however, never have to pass such tests, resulting in a population which is becoming increasingly ignorant of the intentions of the Founders.
Trusting the care of our republic to the likes of the last two generations is like hoping that a kangaroo will take care of a Rolex watch. If you don't believe that, try discussing the Constitution with your average under-sixty liberal.
No child should ever be allowed to leave high school without being able to pass the history/government test required of an immigrant.  Put civics back in our schools.

I believe that we should make this a principal subject in history classes everywhere. More so in US History classes. So that way children know what this country was founded upon and not misled by people using the father's quotes for their own devious agendas, or Marxists, depends on who's using them.

As George Washington said, "Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism."

"Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and Romans, and must be that of every free state." - Thomas Jefferson
