Vaccinations and the measles outbreak

I haven't been to this forum in a while.  I came here today to get your opinion on the question of vaccinations, which is being discussed all over the news.   Should vaccinations be required?  Should they be required for children to attend public school?

Are politicians like Rand Paul now trying to distance themselves from anti vaccination statements they made in the past?

I have a nephew who doesn't give his kids any pharmaceuticals at all. We argue about this all the time, his wife is the biggest idiot I have ever met and am really surprised she even knew where kids came from or how they were made. She swears that polio, measles, mumps and all the other diseases just DISAPPEARED, poof and gone they went. Their one son is always sick and is a foot shorter and 20lb less then he should be but you can't say a word to her.
These diseases are gone because we vaccinate people.
If you don't want to vaccinate your kids fine, then you should be RESPONSIBLE for everyone YOU make sick.

It's obvious that the current measles outbreak is the result of all those unvaccinated illegal immigrant children who poured into the U.S. last Summer.

Could be that is where it came from, but it would not have spread if everyone here had been vaccinated.

A magnificent product, no doubt, of the Public Gulag System.

Our Bill of Rights constitutes a cluster of little foxholes of liberty ground into the hard cold face of history by helpless men for a shield against the lash of tyrants. Yup!  Cheesy  That's the joke.  She's so stupid that she thinks it's artistic and then shows her bias by saying it doesn't mean they're gay. Grin

I was having my boys vaccinated way back in the '60's--and damned glad I did.
You'll note they're making a big deal out of measles at the present, but polio is also back, along with TB.
Those two were wiped out in this country by vaccinations.  Now the illegals are bringing "gifts" of every freaking disease you can imagine.

Get your kids vaccinated.  And, yes, schools should have a right to ask for proof of vaccinations.
