Hyperbole or truth?

Joe Walsh, former Republican Congressman, made this statement today:

The Constitution died yesterday.  Congress gave the middle finger to legal American citizens.

May not be an exact quote, but I've got it close!

Hyperbole or truth to you?

The constitution has been murdered by barry and his gang.  It died - but it wasn't a natural death.

The trouble with good ideas is that they quickly deteriorate into hard work....

I do agree with him that yesterday was especially egregious.

We knew what the President was, but many of us didn't expect the people that begged us to vote for them to make it different lied also.

They took the Constitutional authority given to them and ripped it up yesterday.

You may certainly be right.

Just that the Republican cave on amnesty was just a special sort of screw job in not protecting the separation of powers.

Right now, I'm going to be an optimist.  Smiley   With respect to the Constitution dying yesterday, I consider that statement to be hyperbole( an extravagant statement not intended to be taken literally[ Webster's College Dictionary]).
