Made some this morning . First I lined the bottom of the dish with mini marshmallows.

I haven't made fudge in "forever".   Never thought of lining the bottom with marshmallows.  That sounds good though.  Will try it next time.

Thanks for the hint!!!

In case someone wants to write it down:

Microwave Fudge:
3 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips
1 14oz can of condensed milk
4 tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
1/4 teaspoon of Salt

line pan with foil and spray with nonstick spray oil
in microwave bowl combine chips and milk and butter
Microwave for one minute and then stir well
stir until all butter and chocolate is melted and smooth
add salt and vanilla
stir until smooth and mixed well
put mixture into foil sprayed pan
smooth even, refrigerate for two hours, cut and serve

The recipe says to put the ingredients in a bowl and place in the microwave. You don't put the foil-lined baking sheet in it.  Wink

Line a baking sheet and spray with oil then after the chocolate is melted, it is poured onto the sheet and refrigerated. Wink

Thanks for the recipe, WA. I am sure gonna try it, though my doctor says to watch my sugar. Sad

I moved your recipe to the cooking forum.

See's Candies Fudge

Mix 4 1/2 cups sugar with one (1) can evaporated milk.

2 Boil 7 to 8 minutes, stirring often (rolling boil).

3 Mix together in a large bowl; 3 packages chocolate chips, 7 oz. jar marshmallow cream, 1/2 lb. melted margarine. Cream margarine and marshmallow together and add chocolate chips.

4 Pour hot mixture over chocolate mixture.

5 After chocolate has melted, add 2 cups of nuts and 1 teaspoons of vanilla, blend well, pour into buttered pans and chill in refrigerator.

6 Cut into squares before firm.

7 This recipe makes about 5 lbs of fudge.

BTW, I use real butter.  My Mom uses Margarine.
