I attend a very large church lead by one of the best and most well known pastors/Christians in the country.

There are a few police officers out front and most likely a bunch who are in the congregation each week.

But I have to imagine that we would be a juicy target for someone who takes their MUSLIM faith seriously.  I wouldn't mind having something to keep my hands busy when/if Mommar and Abdul come a calling.

Nope!  I take mine to Church every week and I have three mags with me.  Gun free zones are not safe places to be in unarmed...

I came across a Youtube thread last night similar to this, in western China.  A reporter goes there (he speaks the language and has permits) to investigate reports of one ethnic group attacking another.
20 years ago that part of western China was peaceful, a tourist destination, and thriving.  Today (2015) it's killings, fear, anger, poverty.  Muslims began immigrating to that region 20 years ago.  Now Muslims are 50% of the population.
Muslims do not tolerate ANY other religion if they don't have too.
    That is Islam.

I always carry, even in church, maybe especially in church. I'm sure some jihadist would have no problem in targeting a Christian church. I may not prevail in the fight but at least I have a chance to protect my family. Without a firearm we are helpless. Yes, its sad, but that's the reality of the world we live in.

"Gun Free Zones" are massacre magnets.  If you were a crazy person hellbent on killing as many people as possible, your first choice would always be a well-established "Gun Free Zone."

Abolish all "Gun Free Zones" and keep the crazies guessing.  They just might decide not to slaughter innocents that day because someone may be armed and spoil their fun.

The point being, if you really want to reduce the number of mass shootings, you don't go around with a big bullhorn shouting "We're all unarmed and incapable of stopping you, come shoot us!" - because someone may do precisely that.

Luke 22:36.  Jesus advised his Apostles to get themselves a sword for a reason.  I believe that reason is applicable in the political environment of today.
