Pirates All-Star Starling Marte banned 80 games for PEDs
AOL News

REUTERS -- Pittsburgh Pirates All-Star outfielder Starling Marte has been banned 80 games for violating Major League Baseball's policy against performance-enhancing drugs, the league said on Tuesday.

Marte, a two-time Gold Glove winner who last year played in his first All-Star Game, tested positive for nandrolone, MLB said in a statement.

The suspension of the 28-year-old Dominican, who has been with Pittsburgh since his MLB debut in 2012, is effective immediately.

Marte apologized and promised to learn from his mistake.

God only knows how many would be busted if they were
all tested for pot.  And what is it with these idiotic ugly haircuts
some players have?  I thought Evan Longoria was more mature than that.  Logan Morrison reminds me of Frankenstein monster.

The above post shows the new ESPiN streaming from WatchESPN.  Gone is the selection of 4 games with a single feed.  But, now you can open as many windows as you want to stream the games they have.  Fox Sports now works the same.  Of course if you have a single channel for your favorite pro team that works too.  The OS I'm running in the above pictures is Linux, but it works the same in Windows.  Well Windows 7, I won't use 10.

Adam Jones Subjected to Racist Insults, Peanuts Thrown at Him at Fenway Park

I can almost guarantee you that alcohol had a part in this.
It's a shame today's baseball fan base isn't the same family
fan base it used to be before the sixties.   Guys boasting about their team like they know shyt about baseball, when just two
years ago they were playing in mommy's backyard.   Now many
fans go there just to drink and act like banshees.  Security needs
to clamp down on this idiots who ruin the game for others.

The same applies to Football.  The college game is still pretty good, but there is no booze allowed in the stadium in the SEC.

When I was a young teen, an older cousin of mine took me to Yankee Stadium to see the football NY Giants game.

We were on the lower level several pews back.  From behind us an apple came whizzing by and hit some older guy in the back of the head about ten pews up.  He looked back looking for someone to blame.  I was too scared to even make eye contact with him.   Undecided

Another time, a small group of us went to a Yankee game.  We had mezzanine front row seats.  From up on a ramp way, we saw
someone spill a cup of beer.  We looked down to the lower level
where it splattered these older and much bigger than us guys.
They looked up and saw us looking down.  They came up to the
mezzanine section and one of them grabbed a friend of mine and threatened to throw him off the mezzanine.  We couldn't convice them it wasn't us who threw the beer.  Huh   You can get yerself
hurt easy at these games.  I still think they shouldn't allow beer
to be sold at games.  You know darn well they're not drinking it
cause it taste so good!!  Roll Eyes

I agree.  No alcohol at any sporting events.
