Lawsuit demands US remove 'In God We Trust' from money
Foxnews.com

A new lawsuit filed on behalf of several Atheist plaintiffs argues the phrase "In God We Trust" on U.S. money is unconstitutional, and calls for the government to get rid of it.

Sacramento attorney Michael Newdow filed the lawsuit Monday in Akron, Ohio. He'd unsuccessfully sued the government at least twice challenging the use of the phrase "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance.

You knew this was coming!!!    Roll Eyes

I believe most people know Michael Newdow is one of the biggest
self aggrandizing turds on the planet. Just trying to make a name for himself, using his kid as window dressing. All the defendant need do is
say GOD stands for "Good Orderly Direction".

A soon as we allow this to happen every thing that the founding fathers achieved would have totally gone out the door, I believed we've already messed up and gone to far off the path the founding fathers had set for this country, how did we get so off track, how have we ,beginning with a society with God, turn in to one that feels like more and more does not know him any more, nor his power? How?

I remember when he did that to his kid. He is truly a pyle.

This sort of nonsense seems to happen every so often, I wouldn't make much of it.

We do know that some of the most enthusiastic promoters of immorality and character weakness are the merchants of death, the global heroin traffickers.
Some say the heart of the business is in Iran and that  goes back millennia. No doubt the US market is huge and the effects on our representatives cannot be estimated.
Others go so far as to say a Mexican wall is a mere Washington diversion. The reasoning behind that is that heroin and other drugs in America are consumed by the ton, not the back pack load, that  they come in to locations like San Francisco and Mena. Obviously, New York.
I'm optimistic. I'd rather think border security would shut down Washington's plans for the NAFTA Mexican highway, a broadly supported plan that would allow drugs to be trucked in by America's retailers.

Either way, expect the war on religion to continue. There's just too much money in it.

Article 1, Section 10 of the Constitution for the United States defines what money is.  This country no longer has any money, all it has is currency which is utterly unconstitutional.

Let them take anything they want off those worthless pieces of paper, give me back my gold and silver.  The gold and silver you stole off us and secreted into your own private vaults.

God is NOT a religion, God is something people believe in as the Creator of the world.  The constitution says "‘Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion’."

Religion, by the bibles definition means "caring for widows and orphans".  In a country where most people actually do believe there is a God (MANY non-church-going people included btw), no such "bill" should ever be passed, or even be considered.

If things like this are allowed to slowly tear down the America we have built, the next thing could be the very, sight of a Bible-believing church will be so offensive that they won't be able to meet except in secret.  Sound familiar?
