Will it be used/seen against Republicans as 'obstructionist'? Again....? (Forest Gump)

In both the presidential and congress races in 2016?

Somehow and someway?

Sure it will. No matter what happens this will have the effect of getting both Dem and Rep voters out to vote.  If Congress doesn't vote the nominee or even if they do the big thing is now the Supreme Court situation is front and center on the political stage where it will remain throughout the election.

The only way to make it is to try!

I know this is all bad news but we need to keep one thing in mind, I know we are all for the constitution---- but constitutionally speaking…… the president does have the obligation to appoint a SC justice when this happens….. that is a fact…….. I know that hurts, and it hurts me too…… but being hypocritical about this is not right, and it is constitutionally not right…….. I know…he is going to pick the most liberal SC appointee there is……..and this country has got itself into a mess………. but all along, this is something I have been observing ever since I was old enough to begin voting………. we have let our politicians go by for way to long, not holding them accountable for anything…..and over the years, it only continues to get worst….we have way too many RINOS in power who continually COMPROMISING THEIR PRINCIPLES…… this is why things are the way they are….now we got a socialist in the WH, and RINOS who supported his last 2 SC justice picks, why----because they compromised their principles…………..   the end result is what we are now seeing…the other side has absolutely no interest in “getting along”, like these RINOS said ……. we caved….we gave…..and they gained…… now God’s judgement is here…and our constitution is in peril because of power hungry compromising politicians that have…well basically sold us out……………  we reap what we sow………  this is our fault ladies and gentleman…….if you know the constitution like I do….we had the power to rid ourselves of these corrupt politicians….but we laid back and did nothing and allowed them to do as they please………. our complacency has done us in…… our prosperties have become the new gods of America, replacing the true living God who was the giver of the prosperities and liberties we enjoy………. isn’t it a tragedy that we have done this….I believe this is the biggest tragedy in American history….and the ramifications of it has not even set in yet, but when it does, then and only then will we see the errors in our ways………….how sad.

No, the president does not "appoint" a SCJ, he only nominates someone. As far as being hypocritical goes, please listen to this...

It's possible, if not probable, that not confirming Obama's nominee to the Supreme Court could help the Republicans in the November elections. So, yes, it could affect the election.

If the spot is still open on the court (doubtful), it will be used - successfully in my view - to motivate a stronger turnout on both sides. It might even get the conservative purists to vote, given the magnitude of this thing.

But what is by far most likely to happen - is tha Barry will nominate someone, and the senate will confirm her / him. The congress has betrayed the voters over and over - and this will simply be another opportunity for them to cave, again.

God help us.

AND the Senate is not obligated to confirm his appointment.

One thing I love about Hannity is his penchant to keep playing these sound bites.  He's been playing that Schumcky sound bite over and over.  I hope everyone keeps playing it.

If the republicans cave once again and nominate one of obama's nominees, then the republicans are dust for sure....
