I once had a Puerto Rican Turkey, and it was outstanding

If your Turkey usually comes out dry, try this receipt . Also, great flavor

Thanks FP!  That looks really good!  The wife and I are into smoking our bird, but we are always open to new ways of doing things.  Plus, turkey isn't always a seasonal meal in our house.

What do you do with leftovers?  Around here, sammiches only go so far.  We like to make soup from the leftover carcass.

I heard that's a great way of doing it.

The thing is, this isn't the same Puerto rican receipt that I have had. But similar. It's the Marinade.

I would suggest try it anytime of the year like you said and see what you think Smiley

Our favorite soup, to make with turkey is a lintel soup.  We start by boiling the carcass to make the stock.  Of course plenty of chicken stock is added too, and we add a very spicy cajun sausage to it.  I just finished showing the wife your recipe, and she is anxious to try it.  We are garlic lovers.

This is still on my bucket list.  We stayed with our traditional smoked turkey due to having to take care of the firehouse too.
