Trump budget seeks defense spending boost, major cuts in other agencies
FoxNews.com

President Trump on Thursday morning released a $1.15 trillion budget proposal that seeks a major increase in military and other security spending while slashing spending in a wide range of other agencies including the EPA and State Department.

“We are going to do more with less, and make the Government lean and accountable to the people,” Trump said in a statement, calling for $54 billion in “reductions to non-Defense programs” to offset the additional defense spending.

Byrdie,
DJT is acting like a sensible businessman.
His challenge is Congress and layers of bureaucrats who have deep pockets interests in their investment portfolios.  Take one wealthy, lifelong Liberal for example: Diane Feinstein, California Senator.  This aged woman, I believe she's 83 years old, got very wealthy in politics.  There are many younger people in Congress and government who take note of her investments and follow suite.
      That's the reality of government.
