Interesting statement by Democrat running in Georgia

Is it Osoff or Asoff, I am not sure of the spelling of his name.

He stated that he did not currently live in the district he is running for (if I got that right).  No, that's not the interesting thing!

He stated that he LIVED WITH his girlfriend of 12 years somewhere else.  He says that after she graduates from her medical training, they will move in to this district.  He wanted to be supportive of her.

Do we all remember a time when a politician was either MARRIED or would not be disclosing he was in a live-in relationship?

This guy is pretty young.  What would be the reason you would live together for 12 years rather than get married?  I know sometimes couples that are older have pension or SS issues and live together rather than marry.  But these two are not in that situation.  It is amazing how what was once NOT ACCEPTABLE is just fine today.

As I understand it, Lily, this guy is 30 years old.  So if he's lived with his girlfriend for 12 years, he was 18 when they began the relationship.
And NO, it's NOT OK to publicize this kind of relationship.  It's only the follywood crowd that believes this is OK to do.  (And other people like that!)

The truth is, he can't even vote for himself, because he doesn't live in that district.  Saying he intends to move into that district, "later on", shouldn't cut it.
I wouldn't vote for the guy for all of those reasons, but then, I'm probably more moral than he is.
Hopefully the people of Georgia are, also.

Whenever I hear of these super long live-in relationships, I always wonder WHY they don't get married.  I can't think of a legitimate reason for it.  Especially for women - if he won't marry you, get out.  And women that produce children without a husband, I find that as dumb as a woman can be.

The hardest thing I have ever had to do is be a mother.  Okay, so my daughter had special needs, but still wouldn't EVER want to do it alone.  Not to mention that over and over it has been proven that children feel more secure if their parents are married.

So, why isn't Mr. Wonderful not married to the doctor?

Chris Smith R from NJ hasn't lived in the state for 25+ yrs. His family and kids all went to school in Virginia. He used an address that was his daddy's basement?

Yes Lilly, I remember those wonderful times long ago when a Marriage was a sacred thing and treated as such.  Today, you ain't cool unless you been divorced twice and still cheating on your spouse!  Very sad.  But those of us who do remember those times can know that we lived in the most glorious times the world will ever know and that most of us had parents who were part of the greatest generation to ever live!

It's very sad what is happening to the morality of the human race.  The end times have got to be very near!
