Government Shut Down (Rant)

Once again we are facing the so called "Government Shut Down" where we face our financial spending debacle.

The Demon-crats are already salivating on "shutting down the government."

I hope Trump calls them out for their hypocrisy.

It goes back to the old position that Trump didn't have a chance at wining the Presidency, and, now that he has won, they are exposed as a "RINO's" and are trying to convince Trump that He just can't bring about the change He campaigned for.

We must remember that President trump is a businessman and not a politician. In a lot of ways he isn't a conservative either.

So the House and Senate have gone to shuffling papers and trying to look like they are trying to do something but in reality, are sadly failing from inactivity and government business as usual. (Didn't they get the memo that Trump and the conservative movement won?)

I honestly thought President Trump would have the Republicans converge around him and help our country correct the 8 years of Obama. (Not Trump's fault, it is the Republicans trying to reform government without losing their own little perks.)

Instead, they can't pass a health care bill, can't seem to cut taxes, can't build the wall, and can't seem to "Get on Board" with the Trump agenda. (Or any agenda that requires leadership and progress.)

Their won't be another election for these clowns, in my opinion, but will result in them being put out to pasture and Trump being re-elected.

When are the Republicans going to realize that they won and they need to push back on these die hard democrats and start making this country great again.

You can correct mistakes and wrong thinking. Inactivity and apathy is a different thing all together.

I used to oversee two Hotels of 300+ rooms. One in Albuquerque, New Mexico and one in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Then, as a night plant manager directly over 640 employees. With large jobs comes large responsibilities and asking for advice is required. However, being afraid to make decisions is extremely frustrating for the employees and displays uncertainty. In my opinion, this is what the Republicans are doing. (Now replace the employees with the American People.) We are being led by a bunch of whining Bureaucrats that would not know a "Blue ribbon" if they saw one.  Angry

Time, it is a wasting!

Bravo!  I agree with you 100%!  Our representation in both houses is nothing short of a joke!  What is going to happen is the repukes will get thrown out and the demoncraps will get control of both.  These azzhats have had 8, going on 9 years to honor their pledge, many repukes even longer than that!  They have done nothing but crawfish and lie!

Like I have told my family, and all my friends, Donald Trump's Presidency is only going to be a brief delay before we plunge into the depths of socialism for good.  I'm convinced the repukes want socialism too.

Four months ago I would have agreed.  Now, no.  Trump is on a path and will get things done.  The People Have Spoken.

What is happening with our Republican elected officials does not surprise me. What does surprise me is the number of them going along with this scheme to stop Trump from trying to save what's left of America. We  knew almost all the Democrats appear to want Socialism/Fascism for our country but the number of Pubs agreeing with them is shocking. What we the people can do to help Trump is limited, our all out attack to stop ObamaCare from being passed into law proves that. The voters seem to be of very little importance once they are elected. be that as it may, we live in some very interesting times and it's going to get even more interesting very soon.

So why do the people in their districts keep electing them?  Why is Paul Ryan, John McCain, and any other Republican not with the program STILL THERE?  These are not new people.  They don't change, yet they keep being re-elected.

What do we see that they don't?  What the heck do they do all day?

As others have opined, they have no problem with the status quo.  They don't even GET why people like us are upset.  As long as they keep their job and campaign contributions come in, they really don't care about the citizen.  Yet citizens keep electing them.  They say one thing while campaigning, yet maintain the same old after election day.

If you have a Republican Congressman, call and write.  I don't have any Republicans to contact.  I have tried with the Democrats, but the likes of Dick Durbin and Bobby Rush could care less.

Stay on them, please.

1.  People don't believe their rep is the problem.  It's your rep that is the problem.

2.  Gerrymandering helps too.  I read a while back that some new boys in congress were trying to write a bill outlawing Gerrymandering nationwide.  Good luck with that.
