Human Rights

The topic of conversation came up the other day.  While discussing deportation of illegal aliens, I was told it was a violation of their rights.
"What rights of theirs is it violating."
"Their rights!"
"They aren't citizens here.  They have no rights to not be deported from here."
"They have all sorts of rights."
"Like what?"
"Human rights!"
"Name a 'Human Right'"
It's at this point that the conversation ended with him walking away.  Evidently "Human Rights" are self evident but not to conservatives.  Since I'm a kind hearted person, I'd like to know what a "human right" so I don't violate one in the future.
  Please help.

Undoubtedly your opponent needed to go re-read their progressive's manual.

The average prog has about as much grasp on the principle of "human rights" as the average earth worm has a grasp on special relativity. Somehow their "human rights" almost always involve taking away from someone else to satisfy the "rights' of those who "need."

(I've never quite figured out how cable TV in a government supplied housing unit is a "need".....)

Thank you.  I was beginning to think that I was just getting senile in my young age (49 is the new 18).  This seems to be a strategy of the left.  "It's a violation of my civil rights/human rights (take your pick).
I did, finally, get him to break down about human rights when asking him to name one.  His response was the right to "drive".  I told him that that wasn't a right but a privilege.

No one owes me anything.

Human rights claims look good on politicians notes.
