Alabama Over Georgia. == The Conference Championship must not be important to the Panel.  There is not much need to play the game.  If a team doesn't win its Conference, it should not play for the Championship.  ==  OK, Rant Over.  Smiley

I think you have it wrong there, Big.  Bama is not in over Georgia.  The top four is in this order: #1. Clumpson, #2. Chokelahoma(they don not deserve this ranking. #3. Georgia, #4 Alabama.

#1 will play #4, and #2 will play 3#, in the CFP semi-finals on New Years day.  The winners of these games will play Jan. 8th for the College Football Championship.

#5 is the Ohio St., and #6 is Wisconsin.  The other 19 have been announced, bowl matchups will start being posted by 3 PM ET.

Thanks,.........Yea, I watched four games Saturday and got confused on who got in.  Ohio St was the loser in the bunch, not Georgia.  I just can't see how they can put in a non-Conference winner over a Power 5 Conference Winner.  This was done last year also.  If they are going to pick the Playoff Teams, more needs to be done than just arbitrarily picking a team.  On field has got to count for something.

Yeah, they did it last year to Penn. St.  They put Ohio St. in the playoffs last year, after Penn St. beat them and won the B1G Championship.  So this year was poetic justice when they screwed Ohio St. and put Bama in.  In my opinion the only real solution is to have an 8 team playoff.  The five P5 Conference Champions, and then the committee can select 3 wildcards, which should come from the G5 teams, but that won't happen anytime soon.

I like four teams and here is why.  The games this past weekend had great meaning.  If Wisconsin and Ohio St were in (which they would be with 8) then the game would not have been big at all.  This is a great improvement of 50 years ago when people voted on the Champion.  It would have been good if Ohio St and Alabama could have played a game this week to determine who gets in.  That is only Fantasy though.

Well, if we had a 6 or 8 team playoff, Ohio St. would be in, but not Wisky.
