I can see the headlines. Trump throws babies over the fence.
My state is constantly pushing welfare, the more the merrier.

I don't think that is Trump's viewpoint.  He is not "trying to make it happen".  He only canceled Obama's Illegal Executive Order and told Congress to pass a law if they want the DACA's to stay.  He wants the Wall and is willing to tie the two together.  I don't think he is behind DACA one way or the other.

Bologny. If Trump signs a bill that has daca amnesty in it, then he is behind it...

President Trump has repeatedly said what he would do with DACA.  He is using it as a negotiating tool to fix legal immigration.  These 800,000 dreamers will stay as long as we get our wall and chain migration is stopped permanently.  E-verify is part of it too.  Have faith in his ability to make good deals, and ignore the lying crap in the fake media.

I know all about the lying media.

I just don't see ANYONE having the courage to do what really needs to be done. NO ONE, not even President Trump.

There needs to be deportations of not only criminal aliens.  We have MILLIONS of illegal squatters sucking out money and culture from us.

I guess I am finally saying it - President Trump will let them stay and won't do what we really NEED to take back OUR country.  I have all but given up that what is truly needed will be done.

I don't care if they are deported, but I understand I am not in the majority on this issue, regardless of party. So I know they are staying and Trump knows they are staying.  What I hope for him is the best darned deal he can make about the wall, and the rest of the issues so that the country is never placed in this position again. I'll be satisfied if he can pull that off. But he can't get support in Congress nor from the public for deportation.

I don't agree there is no public support for deportation.  You just don't get to hear about it.

If you read comments sections on articles about it, there can be hundreds to thousands of comments supporting it.  Read Breitbart's comment section if there is an article on immigration.

I think there is a very poor job done by the filth media reporting on the enormous costs of illegal immigration.  Not even just dollars, but in the cultural changes done to this country.  Example - one day I make several phone calls to find a specialist for my daughter.  At least 10 calls.  Only ONE was answered by a person who had English as their first language.  ONE ONLY.  I don't recognize my home town (Chicago) hardly at all.  My high school is predominantly Hispanic now - and they've dumbed it down.

But I am pessimistic anyone has the courage to do what should be done.  Once President Trump disappoints me, I will tune out even more than I am now.

IDK Lilly...even in other conservative forums (facebook) that I am active in I see no support for deportation, nor amongst my conservative friends (I am the lone wolf).  I think the public has been misled about these "kids" (because a lot of them were teenagers who knew they were breaking the law), but I have a very hard time finding any support anywhere for deportation except when I am talking to myself (and a few here). I came to understand, even before Trump was elected, that it's not going to happen and I have accepted that in exchange for more border security, including, but not only, the wall.

Since you posed the question, what about it?  It cuts immigration, isn't that good?
