Anchor baby population in the U.S.

We citizens are being outnumbered daily.

If you read comments section, there are a lot of Americans who are sickened by this.  Our country has been given away.

How do we like this?  Fundamentally transforming America, are we?????

The entire "anchor baby" concept is just one more prog lie.  The concept is based on the first sentence of the 14th Amendment which states "All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."  So the progs claim any baby born within our borders, to include the borders of a U.S. territory, are automatically U.S. citizens.

But, just as they ignore the phrase "the rights of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." in favor of the other phrase "A well regulated militia...."; or just as they ignore the phrase "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;" when talking about the non-establishment of religion clause; the progs very carefully ignore a specific limiter when talking about persons born in the U.S.

Again: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
Persons who are in the U.S. ILLEGALLY are NOT "under the jurisdiction thereof", and therefore their children are not automatically U.S. citizens.

Of course, this does not eliminate ALL "anchor babies", as there are those who are born within the U.S. to persons holding one type or another legitimate immigration status.  Those babies, do, indeed, present a legal problem when the parent's visa expires. But for the vast majority, their legal status as U.S. citizens is nothing more than prog/demoncrap shenanigans.

Yes, I know that a progressive justice started the whole thing. But, as stated, they only did so by ignoring the qualifying phrase within the 14th Amendment. I also pointed out that they CONSTANTLY ignore what is written in the Constitution, and only acknowledge those parts which they can manipulate to agree with their progressive agenda.

It's a lie, no matter how many courts or justices agree with that lie. Someday, the People will have to stand up and defend our Constitution, instead of allowing a bunch of anti-Constitution justices do it for us.

A footnote in a SCOTUS decision is not set in stone jurisprudence.  I can cite numerous ruling that contain the phrase, So-and-so's footnote not withstanding (or aside) it is the opinion of this court that....ect.  Brennans retired from the SCOTUS in 1990, and passed away in 1997.  If the majority of the current right-leaning SCOTUS decided that Brennans was mistaken, they could rule in favor of the correct wording of the 14th Amendment.  I believe Trump is waiting until he replaces the next retiring court member to make the challenge.

I hope you are right about that.  Our Forefathers did not have this in mind I feel sure.
