Our Poll shows 75% thinks DACA have low income jobs.  The actual percentage is not that high, but it is indeed the case in terms of education.

In an ongoing study called the National UnDACAmented Research Project, Harvard researcher Roberto G. Gonzalez has surveyed more than 2,000 self-identified DACA recipients about their education levels. He found that 22 percent have earned a bachelor’s degree, compared to about 32 percent of all Americans who hold a bachelor’s degree, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Gonzalez also found that 21 percent of DACA recipients have dropped out of high school, far above the national dropout rate of 5.9 percent, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.

It appears our Poll is pretty accurate.  The DACA's do not hold a large percent of quality jobs.

I know you're aware it's not just jobs. But people need even the lower paying jobs.  My daughter couldn't get one for a long time
having a college degree.  Everything to citizens first.

Not to mention the cultural shift when you have millions of people from foreign countries here illegally.  Some of whom are taking benefits (especially if there are children).  Gazillions of dollars!

These are not CHILDREN.  Some are as much as 35 years old.  These are pretty broad criteria.  I'll include the link again describing criteria for it.  MANY are adults, and some have children of their own already.

Most of these people are in prime working ages and do compete with our own children.

I think if other immigration laws had been followed, many of us would be way more sympathetic about it.  But since there has been an endless stream of ignoring illegal aliens, it's just another insult.  Remember the summer of "unaccompanied minors" just flowing into the country?  Remember the images of thousands on top of trains?  We are still supporting most of them.  Others just released into the wind.  Will they be the next group to be amnestied?

Lack of immigration control is a national disgrace to the citizens of the USA.

You are absolutely right, of course.  I often forget just how fast time flies by.  People who were just being born after the 09/11/2001 attacks will be able to vote in the next election.

A 17 year-old (minor) illegal alien arriving when Obama first created DACA in 2012 would be 23 years old today.  Of course they would not still be able to obtain a DACA two-year permit after their 18th birthday because they would no longer be a minor.  DACA permits are only issued to minors.  Meaning they must be under the age of 18.

The last set of permits were issued under the Obama administration on March 6, 2016, and are due to expire in three months.
