.....21 big retailers closing stores.  Hate to see Radio Shack going under they were always my favorite for electronic stuff, unfortunately traditional retail sales is a thing of the past.

JC Penney, Sears and Macy’s have been having trouble for ages. It doesn’t help that Penney’s have been shoving homosexuality in its customers faces for quite some time now.  I like Macy’s but the quality of their merchandise have gone down significantly.

Fact of the matter is other establishments will rise in their places so I don’t see the need for panic.

Much as I dislike Bezos, you have to give him credit to give consumers easy ways to find what they want/need. Case in point. I use a products in my hair that I used to get only at CVS. Then CVS stopped carrying it and I was getting it at Walmart. Now Walmart stooped carrying it and the other day I found it on Amazon cheaper.

I also think a significant number of consumers have resorted to shopping online because they do not want to become victims of  jihadists and jihadi jihadizing.

Why use gas to drive to a store when you can find a less expensive item online with free shipping.............It works for me.

I was in a Macy's not long ago. It reminded me of an overpriced Target. Who the hell would pay 50 bucks for a T-shirt that's made in China or the Philippines? I can get that at Walmart for 10 bucks or less.

Exactly, we're going through a sorting out period and all those companies knew it was coming.  Good things are heading our way because of these changes.  We'll just have to wait and see.
When electricity entered the market gas companies floated all kinds of lies about magnetic rays, deadly side effects, and the dangers of electricity; yet, here we are touching black keys, sending electrical impulses into our computers, which will send magnetic waves that go to CF and show up on screens all over the world.
     I haven't heard anyone lamenting the loss of telegraphs. --- ... ---- ... --- ... --- ... --- ... ---        (S O S, repeat)

Online shopping has a really good side to it.  It lowers the cost of goods sold due to almost no shop lifting! Wink

You must be reading Drudge.  He seems weirdly interested in sex robots!  I don't read the articles because it seems, um, dumb, to me.
