As soon as Trump was elected, my choices for AG were Rudy Giuliani or Andy McCarthy. Either of them would be better than Sessions.

Giuliani would have been a great choice.

We all had picks of who we wanted in this administration and I dont think any of them made it. We liked Guilani, Gingrich, Clarke, West etc..

Which begs the question, why were so many swamp rats chosen and excellent people skipped over? Undecided

Business as usual?

For all the bluster; it seems to more and more be headed in that direction. Undecided

I don't think Trump is "business as ususal". I think he tried to pick people that would work together and I don't think that happens in DC. Trump approached the job like a businessman...and business doesn't work in DC.  The whole damned Congress would have been fired from corporate America a long time ago for failing to fulfill their budgeting duties, let alone failing to do something about DACA or any other number of "projects" they talk about and do nothing about. Corporate America may have a swamp of it's own, but it does not generally tolerate failure to do the job.

Sessions and McConnell's wife Chao for starters are not my idea of draining the swap. I agree that Trump's intent is not "business as usual" but the other side of the coin is hiring people that do think way only results in just that.

Just because Sessions doesn't work openly is no reason to believe he is not working.  The fact is, nobody here at Conservative Forum really has a "need to know."

The bad guys will fall.  It's kind of like cooking a great big Thanksgiving Dinner for a large family.  You can't just throw a hot dog on a plate and say, "That's it."  Things worth having are worth waiting for.

I do believe in the past I've put up many examples of police thuggery. Even had a friend lose $3,500.00 in cash once, he and his wife used to travel the country in a camper about 6 months a year. They had dozens of examples a few yrs back on the evening shows and he was in the readers digest yrs ago too. This is thievery. They need no reason at all just take it like a criminal.

I agree with you TS. In my view that law is unconstitutional. They use the drug "crisis" as an excuse to basically steal money from folks, prior to any trial. Amendment 5 of the constitution is pretty clear on that issue: "nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.". There is no due process when they confiscate prior to judgement. Just because the money goes to law enforcement doesn't make it right...  Angry

Who wants to join me in saying, "Sessions is working in the background."   Sad
