Time for John McCain to retire

I'm sure many people are thinking this.  But people like him think they are bigger than the Senate seat.  The people of Arizona deserve better now.  And the seat belongs to them, not any individual.

There was an example of this in Illinois.  Soon after Mark Kirk was elected to the Senate, he suffered a catastrophic stroke.  I thought he should have stepped down when we heard how serious it was and how much rehab he would need.  I think he was gone AT LEAST a year and more.  He came back but needed a lot of physical assistance.

I guess there is some date that is important for McCain having to do with a special election that he doesn't want to happen.  I don't think his wife should be appointed.

I wish he had retired long before he became so repulsive to me (and I am sure to others)  I was tolerating him after he lost, but not any more.

You watch what will happen.  It won't be his wife, but his know-it-all daughter.

It seems to go back and forth every few days. He has definitely outlived the respect I had for him. Time for some new blood. Actually, it's way past time. Arizona should demand better....

McCain should have been voted out when he stopped supporting the conservative votes.

His rich old wife and daughter need to shut their pieholes and enjoy their money.

I lost respect for Sen. McCain long ago, but, now is not the time for me to pile on.  I pray for his family right now, this is a difficult time for them and they need spiritual strength to deal with their coming loss.

This isn't piling on.  It is a simple statement of fact.  He has a brain tumor that has a very poor prognosis.  He has already missed a lot due to treating it.  He has had complications from treatment.

He is at least 80 years old, and his prognosis is poor.   I see nothing wrong with a factual discussion of the rights of the PEOPLE of Arizona.  No one is entitled to hold that position if they cannot carry out the job.  And who knows if his actual thinking hasn't been affected?

He's had it for a long time, and a real man knows when it's time to fold them.  And life (for him) should be more than a JOB.  He's not really being fair to his family either.
