First, thanks to Wayne, who is not just MY buddy, but a buddy to "everybuddy", because that's the kind of buddy he is!  Grin

All of you wonderful people!  I am overwhelmed!

While trying to read all the comments, I found I spent more time wiping tears than reading! Roll Eyes

I didn't know I was such a great guy!  Wink Wink Grin

NOW!  I've been under the care of a Hospice Since the beginning of April.  I think you already know the doctor told me,at that time, I had one minute, to 4 months to live.  Well, I've BEATEN the deadline by about a month, tomorrow!
When I was hit by what I thought was a heart attack (sweats, nausea, weak and trembling) my wife called the hospice and an RN came out immediately.  She grilled, probed, poked and punched me and finally came up with a diagnoses of low blood pressure!  Sort of like when you stand up suddenly and get dizzy!
WHAT?????  It FELT like a heart attack, I'll tell you!  She said rest; changed the BP pill dose and said call again if you have a problem.
Well, I do feel better, but I'm still getting "slight" symptoms that are not as strong, and only last a few minutes.
If it continues, I'll put myself into a hospital for full tests, simply because to me, a hospice WANTS you to die! That's why you're THERE, after all! Grin Grin Grin
A hospital wants to make you better--(I hope!)  At least the one I was in, in Dec. '16 tried to.  That's when they found my aneurysm and said I was a gone goose.  22 months of wondering when someone is going to plant daisies up my nose gets a little stressful!

So that's the latest skinny.  Probably more to come.

Really, gang, I didn't want to "drag out" this dying business, but I'm becoming so used to it, it's almost comfortable any more! Wink

I'll try to drop in once in a while, just to "show my hand".  In the meantime, I sincerely want to thank ALL of you (big and small, old or young) for your kind thoughts and prayers!
It's really too bad there isn't some way we could all get together one weekend, just to meet each other.

If I could get there, I'd know I was in some damn fine company, as we all are on this forum.
Thanks for reading---now I'm gonna' rest--which means my wife has already poured a glass of cold wine and it's waiting in my LR!  Wink

Stay true to the principles, gang!  What principles?  IDK, just make some up!  Grin Grin Grin

Welcome back my fellow Californian. You were definitely missed.

Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian Nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.~John Jay

Wayne--you know what I think of you---
(A total pain-in-the -A**!)

You know I'm joking!  I just wish, as I said before, we could all get together and have a beer and gossip!
(We could point at the ladies and whisper to each other behind our hands.  Drive 'em nuts!  Grin Grin )

So glad to hear it wasn't as bad as you thought it might be.

But I have no doubt the prayers helped anyway!  So put out the signal any time!!
