That is what I found strange about Fox News calling the House so early last night.  When they called it the Dems had flipped two seats and they needed to flip 23. == After looking at things, I guess Fox knew what they were doing.  Right now it is 220 - 193 with 22 still undecided.  This could end up being VERY BAD.

The Dem's have lost again.  That's 2012, 2014, 2016 and now 2018.  They lost the Senate thanks to one great man.  And they only got, what?, less than 40 seats in the House.  That's losing by almost any midterm standard.
With the all time loser being the First Muslim: 69 House seats.

Gotta be willing to look at ALL the numbers before hyperventilating to no purpose.

Currently, the House stands at 223 seat D, 197 seats R, with 15 still yet to be called.

Of those, 5 are in CA, with districts 10, 39 and 45 with Rs in the lead and 100% reporting.  So that brings the count to 225-200.

Georgia has two seats still not called because the spread in each is less than a percentage point.  Currently 1 each. 226-201.

Maine has one seat still not called with 88% reporting (don't know what the hold up is.) but it is leaning R by a smidge.  Let's say it goes the other way to be conservative. 227-201

NJ as one seat not called, at 99% reported. Blue.  228-201

NY has two seats yet to be called, one each.  229-202

NC one seat going red, just needs to be called  229-203

TX, one yet to be called, going red . 229-204

UT, one race to be called, going blue 230-204

And WA, one race to be called, going blue . 231-204.

27 seat advantage, MAYBE as many as 30 after recount cheating takes its hits.  Still, not that huge when it comes down to brass tacks.

This is good news, although not totally tallied, the Dem's did VERY poorly.
And!, they were given 40 RINO seats to go after.
    Heck!, this is great news.

- Republicans can easily win the House in 2 years

After this mid-term where the republican leadership acted dumb as a big bag of rocks, I am VERY worried about the house in 2020.

Where were the ads pushing back against the democrat lies ?

Where were the republican ads "Trumpeting" this great economy, and explaining WHY we have such a great economy ?

Kevin McCarthy is going to lead the republicans to victory ?
McCarthy is taking credit for the 2010 victory ?
Last time I looked it was ObamaCare that lead to the house victory in 2010.

McCarthy is as dumb as a bag of rocks.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy is, at this moment, the Democrats’ best pal. He went on Fox News last night to talk up his campaign to replace outgoing House Speaker John Boehner, and he ended up saying out loud and on television the one thing Republicans aren’t supposed to say about the House Select Committee on Benghazi: it’s all about taking down Hillary Clinton:

I remember that quote well. There was another I can't find right now that was also just as DUMB.
