This one is not quite the loss the headlines would have us believe. (We all know how the baby killers LOVE to celebrate when they get to go on with their holocaust against the unborn.)

All SCOTUS did was refuse to reverse a lower court's stay on the law until it can be fully adjudicated. The law in question requires abortion clinic practitioners to have admitting privileges to local hospitals.

Abortionist claim the law will cause two of the three abortion clinics of the area to close. (One clinic already meets the new requirements.) The actual adjudication of the challenge against the law has not yet been settled, yet the law went into effect at the beginning of the year. An injunction against the law taking effect was put in place, which the state challenged, and was turned down.

So, the law is still under injunction, BUT, it has NOT been disallowed -- and legal experts say the challenge against the law faces an uphill battle - especially since one of the three clinics was able to meet the requirements well in advance of the law's original date for taking effect.
